Honda Super Cub gets 3D patent

The 3D trademark, which is rare for a consumer product, protects the Super Cub`s shape.

It could prove useful to Honda in countries where sales continue, some of which are members of the World Intellectual Property Organisation along with Japan.

Over 60 million Super Cubs have been sold worldwide since 1958, including the C50, C70 and C90, the last to cease production for the UK.

Isn`t it time we had it back?
