The 2014 Honda CRF250R brings quite a host of changes to the quarter-litre off-road machines, destined to make it swifter and more nimble, increasing both fun and performance at the same time.
This bike rolls with a new aluminium chassis, a new swing-arm and revised architecture. The rear subframe is now lighter, yet no compromise was made: thanks to the short-can dual exhaust system, the mounting points moved towards the center of the bike. The cans are now lighter and the tail of the bike is lighter too.
The whole engine was updated and received a new head, piston, higher compression ratio, dual-timing injection, resulting in more midrange grunt for a quicker bike altogether. Works-style brakes and revised fully-adjustable forks are a great complement to the Honda Progressive Steering Damper (HPSD), providing precise directional control in all portions of the track and on all terrains.
